Delete your Oracle Fate account

You can delete your Oracle Fate account, and everything in it, at any time. There are two ways.

In the app

Open Oracle Fate and sign in.
Go to the You tab, then Settings.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deletion starts at once and cannot be undone.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email support@oraclefate.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". If you signed in with Google or Apple, write from that address. We will confirm the request came from you, delete the account within 30 days, and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Your sign-in identity and profile, including your name, email, phone number and avatar.
Your birth data and natal chart.
Everything in your vault: notes, conversations with the Oracle, files and photos, and the memories the Oracle kept.
Your predictions, omens, readings, bonds, and the charts you made for other people.
Your friendships, synced contact data, and device notification tokens.

What is kept, and for how long

Purchase records are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax and accounting law requires it. They hold what was bought and when, not your readings.
Crash diagnostics expire on Firebase's schedule, currently up to 90 days.
Session recordings expire on Smartlook's rolling window.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings, or it will keep renewing.

Delete some of your data, keep your account

You do not have to delete your account to remove what you have shared. In the app:

The Oracle's memories: You, then Settings, then Oracle's Memories. Delete any single memory, or tap Delete All Memories.
A conversation: in My Life, open the chat and choose Delete Chat to remove it and everything in it, or Clear Chat History to empty it.
Your photo: on the You tab, tap your photo, then Remove Photo.

These are deleted at once and cannot be restored. To remove anything else, such as the contact data synced for friend suggestions, or your birth data, email support@oraclefate.com from your sign-in address and say what you want removed. We will do it within 30 days and reply when it is done. Turning off contacts access in your phone's settings stops any further syncing.
